Since November 2024, Pluto has been rewriting the sky's foundation from Aquarius. Neptune, Saturn, and Uranus have each followed close behind, stepping into new signs of their own. Will it be recorded if I can't make it live?
Yes. The workshop itself will be recorded. Breakout practice sessions will not be recorded. The recording will be available for download 24 hours after the live event ends.

Do I need to know how to read tarot or astrology?
Not at all. All you need is a willingness to learn. As this workshop focuses on the energies of transformation and personal power within tarot and astrology, we'll guide you through what you need to know. All you need is an open mind.

Do I need a tarot deck?
It will be helpful to have a physical tarot deck for the workshop, as we will do practice reads in breakout groups (attendance optional) at the end. If you prefer to use a digital tarot deck, that's also fine, as long as you have access to the full tarot deck (as opposed to oracle cards or just the Major Arcana)

Do I need a copy of my birth chart?
Yes. For this workshop, you will need a copy of your birth chart, as we will discuss the transformational power of Pluto in your chart. It's ok if you don't have one or don't know how to get one. You'll be provided with instructions to get a free copy of your birth chart in the Getting Started Instructions for this workshop.

What if I don't know all my birth details?
To create a birth chart, you will need your birth date, time, and location. It's ok if you do not have your birth time, but the location and date are necessary to create a chart in any software – online or otherwise.

What house system will you use for astrology?
Kay uses the Placidus house system but encourages you to use the one that resonates most with you. If you do not know what a house system is, no worries. Follow the instructions provided to get a free copy of your chart in the Getting Started instructions for this workshop, and you'll be all set for the workshop!

Do I need to prepare anything besides my birth chart and deck (journal, questions, etc.)?
Nope. Just show up ready to learn and have a good time. Feel free to bring your snacks, favorite notebook (or way to take notes), and a beverage. We'll schedule a bio break, but feel free to take these as needed.

Will we do therapeutic or healing work in this workshop?
No. This workshop is educational, not clinical. We're here to help you understand the symbolism and energy of transformation through tarot and astrology, not to provide therapy, counseling, or crisis intervention. You will not need to share, reveal, or discuss trauma or current difficulties. If you're in crisis or need mental health support, please reach out to a licensed professional or a crisis line first. This class can be a powerful companion to that work, but it isn't a replacement for it.
